My name is Desiree.  I am a chronically ill, fllaming bisexual Wiccan based out of Seattle.  Once upon a time, I worked as a psychologist supporting people with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illnesses.  It was difficult and it was wonderful.  Right now, I am writing a novel.  This blog samples some more casual, memoir style writing and some stories about parenting, illness, death, life and dogs.

 

I live with my partner, his amazing aunt and my even more amazing step-daughter.  I have an adorable Pittbull/Border Collie mix and two really mean, but equally adorable, black cats.
